Internship @ HilbertRaum

HilbertRaum accepts interns all year round, we offer internships that provide insight into a dynamic artist run gallery which has been in operation for 10 years in the vibrant Neuköln district of Berlin. The exhibitions are varied, spanning a broad range of mediums of visual art, offering our interns insight into various approaches to exhibition and art making. We accept interns for a minimum of 3 months and maximum 6 months.

HilbertRaum arranges its programming with a rapid turnover of exhibitions organized by an international collective of 20 artists and curators. Interns are expected to work on each exhibition as per agreement with each respective artist/organizer.

Even if you will be working with a variety of artists, curators and organizers, one Hilbert member will be your contact person during your tenure. You can feel free to approach them with any concerns that might arise during your internship. 

You will be expected to do some or all of the following depending on agreement with each organizer/artist: Assist in installing and deinstalling art exhibitions, invigilate the exhibitions partly, assist at the exhibition openings and manage social media of HilbertRaum. We look for independent individual, with a strong work ethic, ready to take on work with the great variety of visual artists of HilbertRaum.
