In 'REALITIES' I will present examples of the three main topics of my work: Anatomy, Astronomy and UFO Phenomenon. The exhibited works have been created in the first two decades of the 21st century, attributed by most scholars to the Holocene, by some to the Anthropocene and by a few to the Psychozoic.
Frank J. Schäpel lives and works in Berlin. From 1997-2002 he studied fine arts at the UdK Berlin with Georg Baselitz. From 2004-2006 he took part in dissection courses at the Humboldt University Berlin. Since 2009 he has been researching the UFO phenomenon in collaboration with scientists from various disciplines. His last project 'DOME' was an exhibition with an extensive program of events at the Zeiss-Großplanetarium Berlin
Schäpel is a member of IGAAP, the Interdisciplinary Society for the Analysis of Anomalous Phenomena.
