NO PLACE LIKE HOME - Clemens Wilhelm's first solo exhibition in Berlin presents three video works on the connection of mass tourism and mass photography: SIMULACRA takes you on a hyperrealistic trip through a Chinese copy of the world. THE TOURIST mixes the aesthetics of National Geographic, Caspar David Friedrich and porno through an absurd performance in the vast landscapes of Iceland. THE MOST PHOTOGRAPHED MAN IN BERLIN shows 1000 Facebook photos which document Wilhelm's attempt to become a Berlin tourist attraction. If you can see the whole world online, why leave your home and become a tourist?

In addition to the show, Clemens Wilhelm will present three video screening events with selected guest artists:
