Clemens Wilhelm (*1980 West-Berlin) is a multi-media-artist based in Berlin who works mainly in video and photography. He studied at HBK Braunschweig in the classes of Candice Breitz ("Meisterschüler" 2009) and Michael Brynntrup (film class). He received the TATE Joseph-Beuys-Scholarship, the Pepinieres Europeennes Scholarship (2010-11) and the Lo Schermo dell'Arte - Visio Scholarship (2012). He was nominated for the Kino der Kunst Project Award Munich (2013) and the Lichter Art Award Frankfurt (2012). In 2014, he received the 1st Prize for „Peter is dead“ at the Now & After Video Art Festival, Moscow. He was artist in residence at Organhaus Art Space Chongqing (CN), SIM Reykjavik (IS), Buitenwerkplaats Amsterdam (NL), SUMU Turku (FI), LKV Trondheim (NO), FUTURA Prague (CZ), and Timespan Helmsdale (UK)
